Timestrip Smart Labels
Timestrip is the world's first time and temperature sensitive Smart Label that visually monitors elapsed time on anything in which time is a factor for quality, safety or health. Think of it as a visual alarm clock.
Timestrips® are smart labels which make life easier and safer for you and your family. They eliminate guesswork by automatically monitoring elapsed time, ranging from under 1 day to 12 months.
While Timestrips are temperature sensitive, they only monitor time and not temperature.
A Real Problem Solver
Timestrip is the answer to the annoying problem of losing track of time when it comes to storage. We often can't remember when we opened that jar of mayonnaise or when we froze the leftover bolognaise sauce. Now, instead of being unsure and throwing it out while it's still good, or even worse, eating it when it should have been disposed of, simply stick on a Timestrip and get real time monitoring of freshness.
In addition to food quality, Timestrips reduce the risk of bacterial food poisoning by monitoring food storage and usage dates.
How Would I Use Them?
Use Timestrips on anything in which time is a factor for quality, safety or health. Timestrips take the guesswork out of how long food has been in the freezer, refrigerator and pantry. They'll ensure that properly stored food is eaten while it retains its quality and free of spoilage. Because you're eliminating discarding spoiled items, Timestrips pay for themselves in the long run.
Diabetics need to use insulin within a prescribed period. A Timestrip will tell you how long the insulin has been opened.
Certain cosmetics break down in composition after several months. Timestrips tell you when to buy new cosmetics to eliminate the possibility of a bacterial infection. Timestrips especially reduce the risk of eye infection for mascara.
All consumer items have a shelf life, i.e., the period of time before the product's quality degrades. Use Timestrips on any personal or household items in which quality and / or safety is a factor.
Timestrip is an essential way to protect infants by monitoring storage times for baby food and breast milk.

Timestrips monitor the shelf life of opened or un-opened products. When you buy or open a product, simply activate a TimeStrip and attach it to the product. That's all there is to do. TimeStrip will tell you how long it's been in the refrigerator or on the shelf.
The technology behind the revolutionary Timestrip® works by capillary action, allowing a tinted liquid to migrate through a micro-porous material at a consistent rate. Inexpensive and easy to use Timestrips® are setting a new standard in product labelling on perishable goods.

Where Do I Find Information On Food Storage?
We've compiled a listing of food storage times for the most common foods with additional storage information included for some other foods. When using the information note that there is a special warning regarding meat processors and supermarkets now using carbon monoxide to lengthen the shelf life of red meat. While the process does increase shelf life, it also allows the meat to retain its red color far beyond point of spoilage.
